Prayer Mission Statement IV

Acts 10:1-8 “He and all his family were devout and God fearing, he gave generously to those in need and prayed regularly” v 2. We go a step further  in our family prayer series, before we round up it up with the next post by His grace. The suggestion in part IV is to formulate a family prayer mission statement, our praying should focus on our mission statement. Remember some couples of weeks back, we shared the issue of vision and mission statement together and through the scripture, we agreed that without a vision/mission statement people perish, people are stagnant or have no direction at all. Like said yesterday that as a family there is need to have or know the purpose and plan of God for our family. The statement could be written or not, but it gives your family direction. For Cornelius, he and his family knew they were meant to help the poor and pray fervently. They never used their position as a prominent military family to intimidate people. Their statement ...

We are all Debtors

“They agreed they were in this for good, completely together in prayer, the women included. Also Jesus’ mother, and his brother” Acts 1:14 (The Message Version) Study Passage : Ephesians 4 In the body of Christ there are no graceless Christians, we all have a measure of grace given unto us by heaven. However the release of this grace has purpose, which is for the common good of everyone in the body. As long as you and I carry Gods anointing, we are debtors to the body of Christ. So any one that sits on God’s gift and fails to give generously to the body of Christ is a wicked servant and a thief.  So the question is are you a wicked servant or thief? In God’s design no one stands alone, nor operates in isolation. You are owned by two always, God himself first and the Brethren second. In a different blog post we will discuss how we can belong to the brethren and yet not become unavailable for God.  I guess that settles the question the paragraph might have arisen...

The Gift

“For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable”. Romans 11:29 Hello friends, it is good to be back again after a long time, I hope, I will be consistent in my sharing from now, in fulfillment of the promise I made to a Blue butterfly, that flew into my life. J Today I want to share on Gifts and our response to her! Every one of us living on earth, have a gift and call, to be used in the time allotted to us while here on earth. It should be everyone’s prayer that God bring to one’s awareness one’s gift and calling. But there is a challenge to our current response to her. We are living in a generation where believers now fight God with the gift he has deposited in us. A lot of Christian has fallen into a snail of the end time, mistaking God’s gift and blessings of his approval to their misdeed. You hear people say “after all, with all my enviousness, or bitterness, exposure to drugs and alcohol, fornication, lying and character flaws; I still can prophecy, see vision, pray...
